Lead Poisoning Prevention
M-CLEAN (Minnesota Collaborative Lead Education and Assessment Network)
The number of elevated lead cases in Minnesota continues to decline, thanks to the hard work and dedication of the many diverse partners addressing childhood lead poisoning. As we continue to work towards preventing childhood lead poisoning, the MDH Healthy Homes and Lead Poisoning Prevention Program has re-established the Minnesota Collaborative Lead Assessment Network (M-CLEAN).
M-CLEAN gathers twice a year to update each other on our work, discuss legislative developments and ways to move our work forward. We cover lead poisoning prevention and healthy homes issues. The most recent M-CLEAN meeting took place on 11/13 and was recorded. Watch the M-CLEAN recording. Email Duzong Yang to request a copy of the presentation slides.
The next meeting is planned for spring and will be held in a hybrid format. The date, time, and location will be announced towards the beginning of 2026. Stay updated by coming back to this web page or subscribe to the Lead Hot Topics newsletter at Get Email Updates below.
