The vaccine usage reports allow users to view information about immunizations reported to MIIC. There are three reports available.

Vaccine usage report
Vaccine summary report
An aggregate count of immunizations by vaccine type for user-defined parameters.
- Select Request Vaccine Summary from the lefthand navigation menu.
- Enter your report’s preferences. The date range fields are for administration dates you are interested in, not date reported.
- Select Generate Report button.
The report will appear in the Report Status section once ready. Select the report name to view a PDF of the report. The report is only available for seven days after it has been generated. To delete reports no longer needed, select the red X to the left of the report name.
The vaccine summary report displays a count of all immunizations by vaccine type given during the selected date range. Vaccine types with at least one immunization that meets the administered or historical condition you selected will be on the report. For example:
- If you select the Administered filter when generating the report, there will be no zeroes in the Administered column of the report.
- If you select the Historical filter when generating the report, there will be no zeroes in the Historical column of the report.
- The Total Count column is the combined total of administered and historical immunizations reported to MIIC.
Vaccines given report
A line list of immunizations with additional client identifiers for user-defined parameters.
- Select Request Vaccines Given from the lefthand navigation menu.
- Enter your report’s preferences. The date range fields are for administration dates you are interested in, not date reported. If you are logged into MIIC under a parent or umbrella organization, you will have the option to select vaccines associated with one or more locations within your organization.
- Select Generate Report button.
The report will be listed in the Report Status section of the page. Once the status column reads Ready, click the report name. Reports will be available for two weeks. To delete reports no longer needed, select the red X to the left of the report name.
If you create the report for multiple locations, be sure to remove duplicate immunizations.
- Highlight Row 7.
- Select Filter from the Data tab in the top ribbon bar.
- Select Remove Duplicates.
- In the pop-up click Unselect All button.
- Re-select MIIC Immunization ID.
- Click OK.
This will remove any duplicate MIIC Immunization IDs in the report. MIIC Immunization IDs are unique to each immunization reported to MIIC.
Vaccine usage report
An aggregate count of immunizations manually entered from MIIC inventory by vaccine type and age range for user-defined parameters.
This report only includes doses entered into MIIC using inventory. If your organization does not use the inventory function in MIIC, do not use this report. If you are unsure if your organization uses MIIC Inventory, or if you would like to begin using MIIC Inventory, visit Manage Vaccine Inventory.
- Select Request Vaccine Usage from the lefthand navigation menu.
- Enter your report’s preferences.
- For the report to generate properly you must enter a date range. The date range is for reported dates you are interested in, not date administered.
- Select Generate Report button.
The report will be listed in the Report Status section of the page. Periodically click Refresh button until the Status column reads 100%. Select the Report Name to view the report.
The vaccine usage report shows all vaccine doses associated with the selected site(s) during the selected time frame. Doses are sorted by vaccine type and trade name.
