For Local Public Health and Health Care Providers: Refugee Health

This page contains essential resources and relevant links for health care providers and local public health staff, Minnesota Refugee Health Program’s key partners involved in refugee health services. Health care providers are responsible for completing the Refugee Health Assessment and helping coordinate expedited access or referrals to primary care and specialty care, as needed. Local public health staff collaborate with the resettlement agencies, private sponsors, community partners, and clinics to coordinate the Refugee Health Assessment, provide training and support to clinics regarding Refugee Health Assessments, verify completion of the Refugee Health Assessment, and notify the Minnesota Refugee Health Program of results.
