A call for host training facilities
MDH is looking for facilities in each district in the state willing to host a two-day, in-person Basic Training MDS Class.
We require a minimum of 20 participants for each class. A host facility must:
- Agree to coordinate the training.
- Create an invitation and invite staff from other facilities in their district to attend the training. The facility must send a copy of the invitation to MDH in an email attachment. The invitation must identify the class objectives and the intended audience. The invitation must also include the date, time, and location of the class, registration information, and for longer classes over the lunch hour, whether lunch will be available in the facility or area.
- Agree to allow MDH to advertise the training on our social media and/or CMR website.
- Provide the name and contact information (phone, email or both) so interested parties may contact the facility to determine if there is space available for them to attend.
- Print all the training handouts for each participant attending the training.
If your facility is willing to host a training or is wanting additional information, please send an email to health.mds@state.mn.us.
