The Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology Interstate Compact (ASLP-IC) is an interstate agreement that allows eligible licensed audiologists and speech-language pathologists to practice across participating member states through a compact privilege, while maintaining a home-state license.
The ASLP-IC Commission is seeking public comments on several proposed rules intended to clarify and implement provisions of the interstate compact and promote consistent administration across member jurisdictions.
The proposed rules include:
- Chapter 5 – Dispute Resolution
- Chapter 6 – Joint Investigations
- Chapter 7 – Post Graduate Professional Experience
- Chapter 8 – National Examination
- Chapter 9 – Military Identification
The public comment period has been extended through June 9, 2026, at 5:00 p.m. EDT.
Interested individuals may submit comments electronically or provide comments during the ASLP-IC Special Commission Meeting scheduled for June 29, 2026.
