Measles Disease Statistics
Measles is preventable through vaccination, but cases and outbreaks continue to occur in the United States. Measles can be brought into communities and spreads rapidly where measles, mumps, rubella (MMR) vaccination coverage is low. Maintaining high vaccination rates remains the most effective way to protect communities and prevent outbreaks.
