Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) published a Request for Comments in the Minnesota State Register (PDF) for the Health Risk Limits (HRL) Rules Amendments on August 7, 2023. The Request for Comments is the first step in the rulemaking process and an opportunity to obtain input from interested parties.

The Request for Comments closed on November 4, 2024. MDH received no comments during this initial comment period. A new comment period opened on November 4, 2024, and closed on December 4, 2024.  One comment was received during this time.
