MDH Data Exchange Gateway (DEX)

The MDH Data Exchange gateway (DEX) is a multiple service product that allows MDH program areas to publish resources for data partners to integrate with. Primary components of DEX are the DEX Portal, DEX Owners, DEX Config, DEX resources, and authorization service. All DEX integrations use HTTPS protocol with HTTP methods for integration.

What is a resource?

In OAuth a “resource” refers to the protected data or service that the resource owner is willing to allow access to. For the context of DEX, it is a URL on the DEX API with an associated HTTP Method (GET, POST, PUT).
