Additional instructions for sample drop-off

All couriers and collectors must use the south door for all deliveries. This includes Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Drinking Water Protection Partners, MPCA Partners, and other non-MDH personnel.

Please call ahead or, once you arrive, call our Sample Receiving staff at 651-201-4952 so they can meet you at the door. For other deliveries, or if you're unable to reach Sample Receiving staff, ring the bell. Staff will meet deliveries at the door and receive the sample without couriers or collectors having to enter the building.

If any courier or collector has a large drop-off that requires more time for verification that all samples are present, they may be allowed entry to the dock. However, they may go only as far as the carpeted area just inside the door. They can wait while Sample Receiving staff are checking the samples and/or waiting for paperwork or coolers to be returned.

Note that all paperwork must be filled out prior to entering or meeting Sample Receiving staff with the exception of the relinquished signature, date and time.
