MN WIC Education and Training Conferences

Please save the date for the upcoming Minnesota WIC 2027 Education and Training Conference!

This special one-day event is designed to bring together leading public health and nutrition experts and to celebrate the incredible dedication and impact of our statewide WIC staff. We will have targeted sessions for coordinators/supervisors, CPAs, clerks, and breastfeeding peer counselors. All are encouraged to attend!

•    Location: Heritage Center of Brooklyn Center (Brooklyn Center, MN)
•    Format: Live, in-person event only (sessions will not be recorded)

The MN WIC 2024 Preconference (WIC STAFF ONLY) was held virtually on the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Learning Center. The event will be open to watch at your convenience.

Keynote presentations

2. “The importance of the first 1000 days for child development” with Dr. Michael Georgieff.

The MN WIC 2024 Training Conference (Recorded Sessions) is a separate event that is available on the Minnesota Department of Health (MDH) Learning Center. There are nine total sessions. Each session can be viewed individually; however, to receive continuing education credits, you must complete all sessions along with the assessment.
