Evaluating the PHN Residency Program

Periodically, throughout the PHN Residency Program, the resident and preceptor can provide feedback on how the program is meeting their needs; the preceptor also can give feedback at the end of the program. PHN residency facilitators will use the evaluation responses to improve program effectiveness.

Resident feedback schedule

  • Month 6: The resident should provide feedback at the halfway point of the residency via the PHN residency program 6-month feedback (College of Saint Benedict / Saint John's University)
  • Month 12: The resident should complete the final program evaluation via the Resident evaluation of PHN residency (College of Saint Benedict / Saint John's University)

Preceptor feedback schedule

  • Month 3: The preceptor should complete their own evaluation: PHN residency: 3-month preceptor evaluation of new graduate PHN residency (College of Saint Benedict / Saint John's University)
  • Month 6: The preceptor should complete their own evaluation: PHN residency: 6-month preceptor evaluation of new graduate PHN residency (College of Saint Benedict / Saint John's University)
  • Month 12: The preceptor should complete their own evaluation: PHN residency: 12-month preceptor evaluation of new graduate PHN residency (College of Saint Benedict / Saint John's University)
